There are four grades of equipment in the game currently

• Common
• Uncommon
• Rare
• Very Rare

Starship Weapons

There are four types of ship weapons in two categories each with a different set of abilities.

Energy Weapons

• Beams
• Bolts

Projectile Weapons

• Torpedoes
• Mines

Starship Shields

A starship's shields primarily protect it from enemy weapons fire. Shields have different capacities and recharge rates. Once a ship's shields are down, it is vulnerable to enemy torpedoes and various forms of kinetic damage.

Starship Consoles

Consoles modify a ship's performance in various ways.

Starship Deflectors

Your model of deflector dish improves your ship's sensors and various deflector-based powers, such as Tachyon Beam.

Starship Engines

Engines propel a ship through space. Upgrading your engines can improve your turn radius or give you more speed.

Starship Devices

Starship devices primarily take the form of batteries, which can give you a quick boost of power to a particular device for a few seconds before burning out.
